Laiki Child and Content Safety Standards

These standards apply to room names, events, chat, voice, account information, and other user-provided content or interactions in “Laiki.”

Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation

Laiki expressly prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation and any child sexual abuse material, including grooming, sexualization of minors, sextortion, child trafficking, solicitation or facilitation of sexual contact with a child, and creating, uploading, sharing, requesting, or distributing related material. Links, coded language, voice, or offline invitations may not be used to evade these standards.

Other prohibited conduct

Violent threats, stalking, harassment, bullying, hate, or discrimination;
Impersonation, fraud, spam, or malicious sharing of another person's location;
Non-consensual disclosure of personal data, precise location, intimate content, or other conduct that endangers safety or privacy;
Illegal content, intellectual-property infringement, or using Laiki to arrange or facilitate illegal conduct.

How to report

Use “Me → Contact support / Report a problem” in the app or email safety@laiki.app. Include the room code, @handle or other account details, time, and a written description; for ordinary issues, you may attach a screenshot that contains no sensitive information. If child sexual abuse material may be involved, do not download, capture, forward, or attach it, and do not continue interacting to gather evidence.

Our response

We prioritize reports by risk and may restrict features, remove accessible content, end a room, suspend an account, or prevent further use. For suspected child sexual abuse material or imminent danger, we limit access, avoid handling the material more than necessary, keep only necessary records, and report to competent authorities or child-protection organizations when required by law. To protect affected people, investigations, and privacy, we may not be able to disclose every action to the reporter.

Emergencies

Laiki is not an emergency service. If a child or anyone else is in immediate danger, contact local law enforcement or emergency services directly. In Taiwan, call 110; the 113 Protection Hotline provides child-protection consultation.
